Wow, I can't believe it is over. And what an amazing campaign it was. Doing a little happy dance!
What to expect now?
The campaign may be over, but our work is far from complete. We have lots to do and will be posting less frequently as we keep you in the loop of how things are coming along.
Our next step is the pledge manager! If you're newer to crowdfunding, the pledge manager is simply a website outside of Kickstarter that we use to collect and manage all of the information we need to get your pledge to your home. It's also the place where you can add accessories and additional games to your pledge.
Pledge Manager Schedule
We are planning to:
Open the pledge manager around August 1st.
Lock Down all orders and charge cards on September 1st.
You will be able to update your addresses until October 1st.
Occasionally, payments are declined when Kickstarter attempts to process your pledge. If your payment is declined, you will receive an email from Kickstarter every 48 hours this week until it is fixed. If not fixed, then your pledge will be abandoned.
If you used APPLE PAY and don't have an email on your account, please email us at [email protected] so we can invite you to the pledge manager. If you don't receive an email invite to the pledge manager, this is likely the reason.

We are in the final hours of the campaign!!
I hope you've enjoyed the Cartographer's Quest so far and the Recruits game we released for everyone in the last update. As we grab the last stretch goals and watch the numbers climb, I wanted to give everyone a few more fun things in this update.

Stretch Goal Updated
As of now, we have unlocked all the stretch goals. We are adding two more.
We won't be adding any more after this. You've all had amazing suggestions. I would love to add more dice, stickers, and a journal, but we must be careful not to overextend ourselves and promise too much.

We wanted to show our appreciation to all backers with a special discount. Once the pledge manager opens... All RETURNING BACKERS will get an additional $4 creditto use in the pledge manager.
Any returning backer (who has pledged in any of our last Kickstarter projects)who pledges for a physical calendar (Adventurer, Hero, Champion, or Guardian Reward Tier) in the Kickstarter Campaign will get an extra $4 to use in the Pledge Manager.

Playing Cards?
You may be asking, "Why are you offering playing cards? This is an RPG!"
In addition to them being beautiful, we are using them in a new mechanic with the party of followers. You will be drawing a card to activate their abilities. But be careful; they could take damage while trying to help you fight off enemies, lend their expertise in the arcane, or assist with other abilities they provide.
You don't really need the Wrenwood Playing Cards; you can use your own. That's fine. You won't upset us. But you will miss out on these awesome custom cards. They make a good gift too.
Looking to change your pledge or reward selection? Follow these instructions. Beware, if you have early bird pricing, it is best to wait until the pledge manager is released or you could lose your early-bird pricing.

Recruits is a popular card game played by the critters in the forests of Wrenwood. It combines elements of strategy, luck, hand management, and blind bidding, making it an exciting and competitive game. It is played in taverns as gamblers wager bets and by travelers wanting to pass the time at night during camp.

Stretch Goal Update
We recently hit a stretch goal yesterday to get the custom art in the app! YES!!
We have a few final ones to upgrade the markers with a log and a cloth. Plus, an exciting one for the hero book suggested by a backer: Kolby! Thank you! We are already close to unlocking another. Can we get them all?!!?

Only 5 days to go, and we still have some amazing stuff coming up for you, but first:
Stretch Goal Update!
We snagged the latest 2 stretch goals to improve the Hero Book, Companion App, and the Druid's Friend Leaf Bags:
This one... I am really excited about. It will be a great addition to both the hero book and the app. You will get a new character pose and art when your hero levels up. A player suggested this, and I am glad to offer it. That is the best part of the crowdfunding community, creating the things you want!
And the leaf bags. The bags can now fit more dice or even a Deck of the Wrenwood Playing Cards.
Remember that these leaf bags do not come in any reward tiers. If you want one, you must add it to your pledge via an add-on. Here are some instructions.
We do this because these leaf bags are hand-sewn and are very limited.
I want to give a shout-out to Gretha, who makes these. She runs an Etsy shop making many other nature-inspired things. Here is her Etsy page, where you can even get different colors and leaf-themed items.

Questions about the Companion App?
What is Freemium? We are offering a basic version of the app for free. This version should be sufficient for most people to play the Quest Calendar. We will have advanced features only available in the Premium Version. Here is a breakdown of the features we are working on.
Remember: Every physical Hero Book you get through the Kickstarter (as an Add-On or as part of a Reward Tier) will come with a code to get the fully unlockedPremium Hero App for FREE!
At the suggestion of a backer (Thanks, Josh), we are adding the app as an Add-On if you want to pay for it now. We will send you a code when it is ready for download.
Stretch Goal Update
With the Case for the Premium Life Elements Dice unlocked, the survey from the last update shows a clear winner at 85% in preference for the black leather and velvet dice case.
But there is still no clear winner on the Amber Dice. It is truly divided almost down the middle.
Returning heroes will notice a new format to the combat. Everything is placed into a condensed icon section with a short explanation of combat at the bottom. This should reduce typos and allow room for more rounds during the battle.
Also, notice you will now roll for your rewards if you kill enough baddies. Kill more baddies = potential for higher rewards.
