What is needed to play?
You will need the calendar, dice, and a deck of playing cards. We highly recommend the Hero Tier for the best experience. Our free Companion App can be used for a virtual dice roller and the playing card deck.

What happens when you die?
Fate is not so kind for every dice roll. Death may happen. However, the adventure does not end. There are rules for resurrection. You can find those here from the 2022 Quest Calendar:

Are there 365 pages in this calendar?
No. The standard format for desktop calendars is to combine Saturdays and Sundays. This means there are 314 pages for your adventure. While we would love to include more, we have a tight timeline to produce this on time and fear adding the extra 52 days is too risky.

Are there other Quest Calendars?
Yes. The 2021 Quest Calendar was the first. We also released a 2022 and 2023 calendar. You can play a sample now and get them here:

Can past character be used with the 2024 Quest Calendar?
Yes. You can use your favorite characters from the previous year. However, they will need to restart at level 1. Also, it might be funny and weird to have aliens, humans, or cyborgs in a woodland setting.

Why so many add ons?
Ok, so we are a board game and ttrpg family. I get a little obsessive over nice accessories. I just had to offer some of my favorites to everyone.

How do I order extras?
There are 2 ways. Here on Kickstarter you can use the “Add On” feature to get additional copies. You can also add additional funds to your pledge (say double your Hero pledge to get a second Hero set) Once the campaign is over, you can order additional copies in the pledge manager and allocate any additional funds to more copies.

Will this be available in other languages?
No. It will only be available in English.

Are you using a pledge manager?
Yes. Once the campaign ends, we will use a pledge manager to collect your address and shipping funds. You will also be able to change you pledge and add on any additional items.

Can I get a refund?
If you need to cancel your pledge after the campaign ends, we will gladly refund up to 90% of your pledge. The other 10% is taken by 3rd party fees for Kickstarter, payment processing, etc. After your order is shipped, we will not be able to offer a refund.

Will you have region friendly shipping?
Yes. Region Friendly shipping includes the USA, Canada, Europe, the UK, and Australia. If you’re in one of these regions, we anticipate that most backers should not have any additional fees associated with receiving your reward package. Very few specific locations within these regions assess individual local fees or charges. This policy does not cover charges imposed by any locale (county, town, etc). You would be responsible for those charges in these rare circumstances.

Can 2 people play?
It isn’t technically co-op.
You can play together as long as you treat the characters separate. You have to do all the same interactions, same rolls, same obstacles, and fight the same monsters.
If one person gets past the guards by beating them up, the other still has to get passed them, perhaps by sneaking or also beating them up. 1 player’s adventure does not affect the other.
This can be done with 1 calendar. Scrap paper helps.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
